If austin doesn’t get this for me at christmas time, then I am going to buy it after new years. I want the total kit but I am not willing to spend 275.00 and fast for two weeks. No can do. I do want the colon kit though. I think I can handle fasting for like 10 days tops. That is some nasty pictures though. Just goes to show that it really does work.

So I just re-arranged my house and it looks a little bit cozier now. I seems much smaller but it is more functional. The couch is closer to the tv and it is much better for viewing movies in Blue ray and for austin to play his games. I like the couch being closer too. It makes me feel more apart of the movie. The walls aren’t done yet. That will come in time.

I was in one of those moods today where I just had to change something cuz I couldnt sit still today. I dont know if it was the full moon or something else but I couldnt control it. I just had to move things. So I cranked the music and started cleaning and moving. I guess its better than spending a whole bunch of money on stuff that will just clutter up my house.

I so didn’t know that your home computer could be hooked up to a super computer via the Internet and that you could help it compute things that would normally take like 30 years for just one computer alone to do. With the help of the Internet and using CPU space from home computers and gaming systems such as the PS3, we as private citizens can help in the fight to cure diseases, help find aliens, solve complicated mathematical equations, and a host of other things. This is so awesome.

So me and my friend were talking last night and we discovered that there are a few things that we hate.
1. Rich spoiled brats/people that have everything handed to them and they don’t appreciate it.It is just unfathomable to me how someone decent can let their parents hand them everything and then not appropriate it in the long run. they can just go about their business and be like “oh my parents give me whatever I want” well fucking yay for you. When you join the real fucking world where your parents don’t bail you out of everything then you can speak to me.
2. People who talk shit and then deny it. You all know who you are, you talk shit about someone else and their situations and then when confronted you completely deny it. Just step up to the fucking plate and admit what you said was harsh. Take some responsibility for your actions. Don’t lie and then sugar coat the lie to the person it was about. Come out with it.
3.I hate stupid little girl games. I wish that we all could be a little bit more simple about our feelings. Why is it as women we feel the need to play mind games. Why cant we just come straight out with it and be like “look I don’t like you and we are never going to be friends.” Why does it have to be, ” well I like this person for this reason and I will only talk shit about them in code or when they don’t know it.” Seriously guys don’t have that fucking problem. They fight punch each other in the face and then they are friends again. Not with girls, they have to be fucking deceiving and make up rumors and talk shit about someone to their face without them realizing that they are doing it and then when said person figures it out, the shit talker denies it.
4.Better than thou’s. why is it people feel the need to talk shit about other people’s marriages and then say that theirs is so great when every day they come out with another complaint. ” Oh my life is so perfect but my husband is a fucking asshole, yet my marriage is so great.” Make up your fucking mind. Is it great or not? Don’t compare it to someone else’s, figure that shit out and stick with it.

Well I am done with my drunken rantings. I enjoyed. It’s nice to get things off of my chest.

Clean Energy From Beer-Making

Scientists and Australian beer maker Foster’s are teaming up to generate clean energy from brewery waste water — by using sugar-consuming bacteria.

The experimental technology was unveiled Wednesday by scientists at Australia’s University of Queensland, which was given a $115,000 state government grant to install a microbial fuel cell at a Foster’s Group brewery near Brisbane, the capital of Queensland state.

The fuel cell is essentially a battery in which bacteria consume water-soluble brewing waste such as sugar, starch and alcohol.

The battery produces electricity plus clean water, said Prof. Jurg Keller, the university’s wastewater expert.

The complex technology harnesses the chemical energy that the bacteria releases from the organic material, converting it into electrical energy.

The 660-gallon fuel cell will be 250 times bigger than a prototype that has been operating at the university laboratory for three months, Keller said.

”Brewery waste water is a particularly good source because it is very biodegradable … and is highly concentrated, which does help in improving the performance of the cell,” Keller said.

He expected the brewery cell would produce 2 kilowatts of power — enough to power a household — and the technology would eventually be applied in other breweries and wineries owned by Foster’s. The cell should be operating at the brewery by September.

”It’s not going to make an enormous amount of power — its primarily a waste water treatment that has the added benefit of creating electricity,” Keller said.
